Terms and Conditions

Billing
The Lowcountry Farm Box is a 3 month minimum commitment.

Payments are charged automatically on the first of each month, and are made a month in advance. For example, if your card is charged on Dec 1, it is for the box that will be picked up or delivered in January.

Fullfillment
Each month, subscribers receive an email with a private link to view all available products and pick-up or delivery options. Simply customize your box to the value of your subscription and choose how you’d like to receive it. Enter the unique coupon code to zero out your charge and submit your order. Subscribers are expected to fill their box to the correct value. We do not add additional product. Need more than your subscription covers? We’ll invoice the difference and charge your card on file. Then, just pick up on your chosen date or be ready for door-to-door delivery!

The box is not a discount on our products, rather a way to guarantee your family always has the best, most nutrient dense products available from one of the Lowcountry’s most trusted farms. It’s as much a promise from our subscribers to support each month as it is a promise from us to stay true and transparent in our practices and our values. Products and pricing can be found at lowcountryfarmtotable.com – these are the products, along with others not offered to the general public that you will build your box from.

It is expected that subscribers fill out their selections and submit it in a timely manner so that we can fulfill boxes on schedule.

It is expected that our subscribers notate on their calendars when pick up or delivery is that they selected. We do not send out reminders for pick ups.

Door to Door delivery is available for all service areas EXCEPT Charleston. Fees vary from $15-$25 depending on address of delivery. We will ask for a pass to be called in for our drivers if you live in a gated community.

Some locations will be self-serve. When you pick up, just check the list for your name, grab all of your bags, and remove them from the freezer bags, leaving the freezer bags behind so we can reuse them. If freezer bags aren’t returned at self-serve locations, a $5 fee will be applied to your card on file.

Restocking Policy
If you miss a scheduled pick up that you selected and did not reach out in advance to let us know, there will be a $25 restocking fee charged to your card on file. Our staff will have to make a special trip to the farm, out of the way, to restock your box back into the freezer or cold storage resulting in additional labor and fuel costs. If you had a veggie bag with your box, we will hold it for 2 additional days with your other products but then we will donate it to the produce stand.

Product Availability
As a member, you share in the fruits of our labor and have access first and always to our most sought after products. But we are a small farm, and there is always the chance that mother nature – or even our butcher shop – throws us a curve ball. Although our boxes are customizable, it is important to understand and accept that product options will vary month-to-month. We cannot accommodate a veggie only box at any time.

Cancellation
After your initial 3 month commitment, you may request a cancellation from your login page for your subscription or reach out to the farm directly by text at 843-473-5231. DO NOT EMAIL AS EMAILS EASILY GET BURIED IN THE INBOX


Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I don’t pay my membership fee?
If your stored card is declined, no shares will be distributed until payment is received.

What Happens On Pick Up or Delivery Day if There is Inclement Weather?
The only time we would not do pick up or delivery is if there was a declared state of emergency. We would then reschedule the pickup and/or delivery for when it is safe to do so.

What If You Cannot Make Any of the Pick Up or Delivery Options?
If you will be away, you are welcome to offer your box to a family member or friend. We can also always donate your subscription to a local family in need for the month.

Can I Pause My Subscription?
If you are needing to pause your subscription, you must reach out to us 1 month in advance and we will reschedule the billing for when it is time to start distributing your box again.

Can I Split The Box with Another Family?
Of course! But we will only provide pickup or delivery to one place, take one payment in full and pack into one box. Whatever you decide to do after is totally okay with us.

Is Our Farm Organic?
We’re not USDA-certified organic, so we can’t legally label our products “organic.” But our practices go beyond that standard. We never use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Our animals are raised on natural, non-GMO feeds, including spent grains from local distilleries, and our chickens are supplemented with USDA-certified organic feed.

Do We Supplement From Other Farms?
For meat, we partner with a trusted local beef farmer who raises grass-fed, grain-finished cattle with their own non-GMO grain. When available, this beef is offered exclusively to our Farm Box subscribers. For vegetables, we use what we grow, and if quantities fall short, we only supplement with produce from local, naturally grown farms run by farmers we know and trust.

Pay What You Can Mission
We believe everyone should have access to healthy, local food. That’s why we donate boxes each month to families in need. On our website, you can gift a box (or part of one), or nominate someone who could benefit but can’t afford it. Please share this program so we can continue nourishing our whole community.
