Are you interested in becoming a backyard beekeeper but feel overwhelmed by the idea of all the information to go along with keeping bees healthy and hives thriving?  Or do you have bees but wish you knew more about how to maintain the hives to keep your bees more healthy?  This class is for you!

This class is approximately 2 hours long and geared for people who are interested in learning about beekeeping and how to get started with an emphasis on the Hive.  Camp Arnold of Beaufort Bees will be discussing the hive, the parts of the hives, the different types of hives, how to maintain and clean hives and what kind of hive is right for your beekeeping journey!  This will be the first class in a series of beekeeping classes that Camp will be offering through the end of 2021 to make sure that you are geared up and ready to welcome hives to your home in the beginning of 2022!

Camp has been a respected Beekeeper in the Lowcountry for many years.  As an apprentice who worked under Greg Ferris of Ferris Apiaries, he has been trained in many different aspects of beekeeping.  He is passionate and excited to share his knowledge to help others in our lowcountry community on their Beekeeping Journeys!
