If you have been wanting to “get growing” in the Lowcountry, the fall is one of the best times to get started. There are so many amazing possibilities in the fall gardens of the Lowcountry and this class will get you excited about everything you’ll need to do to set yourself up for success this fall in your garden!
This class is 2 hours long and is geared toward beginning to intermediate gardeners. We will discuss what to plant, when to plant, spacing, fertilizer schedule, pests to expect in your fall garden and some of the diseases you might face through the fall and how to trouble shoot and battle those problems. We’ll talk about best places to get plants or seeds and other garden needs here in the Lowcountry. Fall plants pose their own difficulties outside of our summer plants, and we’ll discuss how to prevent common problems and how to grow the best veggies you’ve ever tasted, to put on your family’s plates for the upcoming holiday season!
